We are wired for relationship in the very way we are created. Created in the image of God who created in love. Love is a relationship and our very essence is bound up in God's vision. That vision is blurred at best and fractured at worst, due to the effect of what we call "sin." Lent is a time to be open with God about our dissatisfactions and our desire for a deeper life of faith.
