James Marsters talks playing Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max"

  • サマリー

  • Big thank you to actor and musician James Marsters for coming on my show for an interview! James discussed his difficult journey of breaking into the entertainment industry, getting kicked out of Juilliard, going to Chicago and Seattle for theater work, and going back to California to audition for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He talked about his iconic role as Spike, his first time in the makeup, and his intro in the show on the episode school hard. He got into his experience acting with no dialogue in the episode Hush, why Spike was the best guy for Buffy, and Buffy and Spike ending up together in the comics. He gave his thoughts on a Buffy reboot, if he would reprise his role as Brainiac 5 in Smallville, and taking a small role in House on Haunted Hill (1999) to act with Geoffrey Rush. James also spoke about his band Ghost of the Robot, their new album Tin Man, and much more. Stay tuned!

Ghost of the Robot's new album Tin Man is available on all platforms, including Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/album/tin-man/1715214265.
