Here is a short video that provides some illustrative footage for a documentary we have been planning about the carnival activities of Castiglion Fibocchi, a small town in southern Tuscany. Since the performance is based on a medieval event from the 11th century, its festival staging could be understood as the continuation of a local tradition.
