    Ohio State coach Ryan Day named second-year man Julian Sayin the starting quarterback for the season opener vs No. 1 Texas on Aug. 30 in Ohio Stadium. Sayin stepped forward in the past week of camp ahead of third-year Lincoln Kienholz and proved he has the consistency to handle the job, Day said.
