  • You Know I’m Keeping The Faith
    2025/07/15

Fate, destiny, karma, good luck, bad luck, or even a sense of universal balance or the simple idea that everything happens for a reason. There are so many names for it - as a concept, a construct, or a fact - but still not everyone knows how they feel about it. It's such a hot button issue so much of the time, but it doesn't have to be. And that's what we're talking about. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

  • Dinosaurs Didn’t Read, And Where Are They Now!?
    2025/07/08

Where does a love of books even come from? Is it just the fantasy of being Belle on that rolling library ladder? Does it kick in whenever you hear "butterfly in the skyyyyy" maybe? Wherever it comes from, jj's got it. And Andy's got questions. It's like the most intense book club sesh that no one was ready for. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

  • I Saw Blazing Saddles Yesterday
    2025/07/01

I can't be the only one who remembers that song, right?! But anyway, we're talking about old hollywood and today's PC culture, and the absolute genius of Mel Brooks - the man, the myth, the legend himself. We think too much of the formative boomer years as repressed, but were they really? And were they AT ALL compared to the demands for censorship today? • Keep Calm And Tip On!
    2025/06/24

The puns could really write themselves for this one, but we're not here for the puns. We're talking about the art - or perhaps the science? - of tipping. Why do we do it? To whom do we give it? How much do we give? Or do we even give at all?! That's what we're talking about. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

  • Soft Soapbox and Wishful Thinking
    2025/06/17

We talk a lot about etiquette, manners, and gratitude on this show. We also talk a lot about entitlement. And we're doing it again. The question is whether or not coming from nothing makes a person more or less grateful for what they have, and what they can achieve. Or are people more likely to demand more because they see others with more? What more do people deserve? Do we all deserve more? Who gets to have more? MORE! It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

  • Don’t Go Changing, PLEASE!!!
    2025/06/10

The times they really are a-changing, and it's not always easy, or nice, or good, or fun. Sometimes it just plain stinks. Sometimes it causes grief and anxiety and even white hot rage. And we're talking about that! It's amazing what you learn about people just by talking to them.

  • In Memoriam
    2025/06/03

The vibe is a bit more sullen today. Andy lost his dad this weekend, and we're all doing our best to live with the grief. And it makes you think about life, and about death, and about all the different ways in which people choose to mourn loss. But it also makes you smile to remember all the good times, and to hold on to the memories that really matter in the long run. It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.

  • I’ve Seen Better Friends On A Mug Of Beer
    2025/05/27

We're just gonna go ahead and say it: there's a THICK line between being a friend and being a douchebag to someone. At least there sure should be. We had an incident this week, and we're talking about it! It's amazing what you can learn about people just by talking to them.
