  • Conversations with the Dreamers: Eziuka Healing Chinyere

    Eziuka Healing Chinyere is a 23-year-old nursing student at the University of Jos, Nigeria, and the founder of the Victorious Rhema Family Foundation, an NGO established in 2018 to support orphans, widows, and other vulnerable individuals, particularly in Northern Nigeria.


    Driven by a passion to combat poverty and hunger (aligned with SDGs 1 and 2), her foundation has organized numerous humanitarian and medical outreaches across several Nigerian states. Eziuka has received 18 awards for her humanitarian work, including Plateau State’s 2022 Best Humanitarian Service award. She has also volunteered at Godiya Clinic, where she gained hands-on healthcare experience, further developing her leadership, communication, and caregiving skills.

  • Conversations with the Dreamers: Kudzaishe Chikowore

    Kudzaishe Chikowore was raised in a humble village where he faced significant financial hardship. To fund his own secondary education, he worked as a herd boy, walking barefoot to school and studying under challenging conditions. His perseverance paid off he graduated as valedictorian and received top student awards at both his O Level and A Level schools.


    Kudzaishe is now preparing to pursue a degree in Computer Science, driven by resilience, a passion for learning, and a vision to uplift others through education. He remains deeply grateful to his parents, friends, teachers, and mentors whose unwavering support has carried him this far

  • Conversations with the Dreamers: Fidelity Ndali
    2025/06/10

    Fidelity was born and raised in Baza Village, Chiredzi East, Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe. He completed his O-Levels at Ndali Secondary School and his A-Levels at Chiredzi Christian College before matriculating at the University of Zimbabwe, where he graduated First Class with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics with Economics.


    It was during his undergraduate studies that Fidelity discovered his passion for using mathematical modelling and quantitative analysis to inform public-health policy particularly around infectious-disease control and the unique challenges faced by low- and middle-income countries. Upon graduation, he earned two competitive postgraduate offers: an MSc in Modelling for Global Health at the University of Oxford, funded by the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship, and an MPhil in Population Health Science at the University of Cambridge, supported by a Beit Trust Scholarship. After careful consideration, he opted for Oxford to deepen his expertise in epidemic modelling, health economics and data-driven policy evaluation.


    Following his MSc, Fidelity plans to partner with NGOs and intergovernmental organisations on global health research projects. He ultimately aims to pursue a PhD translating complex modelling insights into practical policy solutions that bolster public-health systems across the African region.
