They are part of a nationwide increase in assaults where teenage offenders use hookup apps to lure their victims before bashing them and filming the attacks, which are then uploaded to social media sites. This behaviour which has been called 'post and boast'. Jeremy Oliver is the LGBTIQA+ Community Portfolio Manager at the Victoria Police and he's speaking to Greg Dyett.
