Not just by hunters during season, but by hikers, bikers, off-roaders, birders, backpackers, and other public land users. Keep in mind that most of the people will not be paying attention to noise, or scent, or whether they are skylined and can be seen easily by wildlife. It can be really frustrating when you're watching a group of deer, waiting for the right opportunity only for them to be spooked by a non-hunter.
