In the great dance of life, a father's spirit is said to echo in his children. I've been blessed to know this dance not once, but twice – first with my children, then with my grandson. Ours is a bond, not loud, but profound.

‏His parents, both wonderful, expose him to a world of experiences and global wanderings. Yet, he confided in his grandmother and me, that the most precious of his days was a simple one in Ras Elbar.

‏In the candid words of a five-year-old, he revealed the depth of our connection. A day under the sun, by the sea, meant more to him than all the worldly adventures. A testament to our subtly powerful bond.

(To have daughters, is to worry until death)

The more you love someone, the more you fear for them. Despite that, my daughters and my family are the most beautiful things in my life. There was a time in my life where I was very lonely, which is why I appreciate my family so much and wished to have many children. The most beautiful and enjoyable time I spend is when we're together in a warm family atmosphere, watching a movie and eating popcorn. Parenting and motherhood are difficult and a huge responsibility because you deal with each child in a different way as they have different personalities and each has their own key. But it's worth it, it’s well worth it, as there's nothing more beautiful than family, togetherness, and love

I neglected my children for a long time, and I burdened my family a lot due to a conviction I can now say is incorrect, which is that my brief presence can compensate for the long absence. But the truth is that real fatherhood is much larger and stronger in presence than that. Family is greedy in wanting and needy, and that is the essence of parenthood. I took from their time and their rights, and gave it to my work and my studies, which is something I regret. No one is a superhero capable of fulfilling every aspect of their role; one must choose their priorities.
