Episode 05: Human Trafficking
In this episode, we discuss Human Trafficking, the reasons behind it, the way victims are attracted to the life, the role of society and pornography in this problem, as well as some common psychological traumas normally present in their survivors and the appropriate technics to treat them.
Our guest for this podcast is Dr. Benjamin Keyes, Ph.D., Executive Director of The Green Cross Academy for Traumatology, Director of Training and Internship, and Director for the Center for Trauma and Resiliency Studies at Divine Mercy University. He is also the creator and instructor of the H.E.A.R.T. Model.
Dr. Keyes’ specialties include dissociative disorders, domestic violence, child abuse, addictions, and mood/anxiety disorders. He has 35 years of experience in private practice and 20 years of experience in research. He has received the Hope Award from Restoration Ministries and the Richard A. Kluft Research Award.
