Anxiety can be debilitating and it can feel real. Coming back to "I am not my thoughts." I am not my anxiety can offer some comfort as you remind yourself that you are more than your false self, your fears and your worries. We have them but we can practice to let the thoughts drift like clouds in the sky, without following them down in to the rabbit hole. This takes much practice and I don't want to diminish your experience or invalidate your emotions, just to simply share that yoga can be a helpful tool if you have anxiety, for it reminds you that you are not your thoughts, what you deem good or bad or who you appear to be.
