How Do You Cope with FPL Burnout?

  • サマリー

  • Matt's pod of the week is the Green Arrow FPL Podcast hosted by Rich Clarke and Fergi. Amongst his comments about this show, Matt states how impressive it is that the Green Arrow pod celebrates it's 200th episode, especially given amount of Fantasy Premier League content that falls by the wayside before it hits the big time. Somewhat inadvertently, this theme of endurance and lasting the distance permeates episode 29 of FPL Pod VS Tok as, after another tough game week, Nick explains that the pressure to maintain his strong start to the season is testing his love for the beautiful game within the beautiful game. Nick's frustration is in contrast to Matt's elation as his Team Pod troops seem to finally be getting the points and returning some very rare green arrows.

It seems there that the international break and FA Cup fixtures that follow it offer the brothers a much needed break from FPL as Nick looks to recharge his batteries and enthusiasm whilst Matt uses the window to consider a Wildcard for game week 30. Speaking of which, Nick's love of the game does show signs of reigniting as the lads talk about their FPL plans going forward whilst also navigating tangents including the value of the Nations League and football's relationship with politics. The show also features clips from Nick's match day experience to see Chelsea take on FC Copenhagen in the Europa Conference and you can see photos on our Insta page!
