    In September of 1942, a horrible tragedy struck the City of Houston. Many of the victims still rest in an unmarked mass grave.

    In 2018, I conducted original research into this fire. I have dozens of clippings from all of Houston's newspapers which reported on the fire. I have also seen original photographs and the fire department's run sheet which is in the Metropolitan Research Center in Houston. I believe I have the most complete list of the victims as well.
