This week on Hidden in the Shadows we are going international to a place often referred to as Bulgaria’s Area 51. Join us on a chilling journey to Tsarichina, a quiet Bulgarian village that became the epicenter of one of the most mysterious military operations in history. On December 6th, 1990, a large force arrived under the command of Colonel Tzvetko Kanev, igniting local curiosity and fear.

Was it a hunt for the lost treasure of Tsar Samuel, or something far more sinister? As advanced scientists, paranormal researchers, and psychics converged on the site, strange and unsettling events plagued the excavation. Radios failed, whispers filled the telephone lines, and UFO sightings skyrocketed.
