  • Truth: Solid Ground In a Shifting World EP2 - Mind Makeover
    2025/08/11

Mind Makeover examines how believers can transform their thinking in a culture that constantly pressures us to conform. Based on Romans 12:1-2, this message connects our understanding of God's mercy with our response of worship—presenting our bodies as living sacrifices. This isn't just about spiritual commitments but involves offering our physical lives, time, energy, abilities, and resources as continuous acts of worship to God.The transformation process requires both removing old thinking patterns and adopting new ones aligned with God's truth. This renewal doesn't happen automatically but requires intentional effort to evaluate how our thoughts, attitudes, and values align with Scripture. When our minds are renewed, we develop the ability to discern God's will—recognizing what is good, acceptable, and perfect according to His standards. Practical applications include taking inventory of priorities, replacing worldly influences with godly input, and practicing discernment through Scripture-based questions. The ultimate goal isn't becoming irrelevant to culture but developing God-centered thinking that enables us to engage with culture wisely rather than being shaped by it.

  • Truth: Solid Ground In a Shifting World EP1 - Sanctified Not Swayed
    2025/08/04

Jesus prayed for His followers to be 'sanctified in truth' while living in a world full of distractions and competing voices. This sanctification isn't about becoming weird or withdrawing from society—it's about being set apart for God's purposes while remaining engaged with our culture. When we're sanctified, we're grounded in eternal truth rather than swayed by temporary trends. The world constantly bombards us with new ideas, changing opinions, and shifting values through marketing, entertainment, and social media. While some influences are harmless, others can lead us away from God's purposes. Jesus acknowledged this tension: His followers live in the world but are not of the world. We're physically present in culture, but we don't draw our values, identity, or purpose from cultural sources. Instead, we're sanctified through God's Word—Scripture serves as our compass, guiding our decisions and shaping our responses to cultural pressures. This sanctification has a purpose beyond personal holiness. Just as Jesus was sent into the world to accomplish God's purposes while remaining holy, we are sent into our culture as His representatives. When we're grounded in truth rather than swayed by trends, people notice the difference—our stability in an unstable world, our hope in discouraging circumstances, and our love for others become powerful testimonies to the reality of God's truth. By intentionally seeking truth and letting it transform us, we become exactly what our world needs: people who know who they are, why they're here, and what truly matters.

  • Praying-With-Paul Ep 5 - Love Beyond
    2025/07/28

God's love extends far beyond human comprehension, requiring supernatural strength just to begin to understand it. Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 reveals this profound truth as he kneels in humility, asking that believers would be strengthened through the Spirit in their inner being. This strengthening isn't for external challenges but for internal transformation—allowing Christ to be completely at home in every area of our lives. Unlike human love, which is typically conditional and based on what others offer us, God's love stems purely from His character and covenant faithfulness. As Deuteronomy 7:7-8 shows, He doesn't love us because of our worthiness or potential but simply because He chooses to. This creates a beautiful paradox: we're invited to know a love that surpasses knowledge itself. God demonstrated this extraordinary love by sending His Son as a sacrifice for our salvation while we were still in rebellion. When we truly experience this unconditional love, we're transformed to become more loving, gracious, and sacrificial ourselves. The same divine power that helps us comprehend God's love also enables Him to accomplish far more than we could ever ask or imagine—not primarily for our comfort, but for His glory displayed through His people across all generations.
