Why does life so often feel like a battle? Because it is. We are living in the midst of a spiritual war—and you were born in war and for war. That’s the heart of the first lesson in our Mantled for Victory class, titled Warring Kingdoms.

Let’s anchor ourselves in this truth:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, powers, world forces of this darkness, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.”

Five Key Foundations:
1. You were born in war and born for war.
2. All true warfare centers on God's Son, Jesus Christ.
3. You were created to bring pleasure to God.
4. The source of all warfare in the root of rebellion.
5. One of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare is forgiveness.

Warfare Is Normal

Spiritual warfare isn’t just for a few—it’s the normal Christian life. The Apostle Paul urges us to “fight the good fight” (1 Tim. 1:18) and reminds us that our weapons “are not carnal” (2 Cor. 10:4). God Himself is called “a man of war” (Ex. 15:3), “mighty in battle” (Ps. 24:8), and “the Lord of Hosts.”

The Enemy is Real

The Bible describes our adversary as Satan, the accuser, deceiver, tempter, and destroyer. He rules a spiritual kingdom in opposition to God’s, but Jesus has given you authority to overcome. (1 John 4:4)

Rebellion Is the Root

At the core of every conflict is rebellion—the refusal to submit to God’s rule. But when we pray, “Thy Kingdom come,” it begins with our own surrender.

“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” (Isa. 57:21)
But for those who submit—there is deep, lasting peace.

No Neutral Ground

There are only two kingdoms: God’s and Satan’s. In 1987, I witnessed firsthand the power of God shaking a nation steeped in darkness. A Voodoo priest declared over national radio:

“Our kingdom is under siege!”
That’s what happens when the people of God rise up.

You are mantled for victory. Walk in the authority of Christ. Use the weapons God has given you. There is no neutral ground—so take your stand.

What Does “Shields Up” Really Mean?
The Apostle Paul referenced the Roman scutum—a large, door-sized shield designed for both personal and collective defense. In spiritual terms, “Shields Up” means activating our faith and locking arms with others in united intercession. Our strength multiplies when we shield one another.

Prophetic Dreams & Personal Struggles
I’ve recently had intense prophetic dreams—images of bombs, sirens, and conflict. These are not just natural warnings, but spiritual alerts. At the same time, I’ve been walking through personal battles, including physical affliction, but I believe even this is part of the warfare. I’m asking for your prayers as I stand to release this message with boldness and clarity.

National Security Concerns & Strategic Prayer
Prophet Cindy Jacobs recently released a word regarding potential threats from Iran, including sleeper cells in U.S. cities. This is not a time for fear, but for preemptive prayer. Cover your cities, military bases, and key infrastructures. Ask the Lord for divine intel, angelic protection, and the exposure of hidden dangers.

Redemptive Hope Through Intercession
Despite the weight of these warnings, we are not without hope. God always gives warnings so we can respond in prayer and see redemption. Just as Nineveh was spared through repentance, so too can nations be turned if we rise up in intercession. Send Judah first. Worship. War in the Spirit. Believe for God’s purposes to prevail—especially in places like Iran, Jordan, and among the Kurdish people.

There’s a shaking in the nations—but Heaven is not silent.

Our foundation today is Revelation 5:6, which reveals the Lamb slain, standing with seven horns (complete power) and seven eyes (complete knowledge), representing the seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth. This passage, tied to Isaiah 11, highlights the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord—all essential in spiritual warfare.

Removing the Enemy’s Legal Rights – Many focus only on confessing sins but fail to displace the enemy. True breakthrough comes when we take our position in Christ and rebuke the powers of darkness in His name.

Kingdom Advancement Comes Through Five Keys:
Abiding – Cultivating intimacy with God.
Appropriation – Receiving divine authority.
Action – Stepping out in faith.
Anointing – Relying on the Holy Spirit’s power.
Advancement – Moving forward in victory.

There is no specific spiritual gift called “spiritual warfare” in the Bible because it is the birthright of every believer! You were born for this—to discern, intercede, and advance God’s kingdom on earth.

Let’s rise up, hear the Lord’s voice, and move forward in triumph!
