It’s that time of year. Nominations are announced. Top Ten lists are published. And cinephiles far and wide decipher which films from 2024 blew their hair back.

Today, co-hosts Bella Efstratis and Nicholas Ybarra are joined by producer Sonja Mereu. Each provides one of their favorite films from 2024 (in the first of three 2024 episodes).

    • First, Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson star in the pulse-pounding, genre-bending identity crisis picture, A Different Man.
    • Next, Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brien deliver one of the more unique love stories of the year in the sometimes sweet, sometimes scary, always extraordinary Love Lies Bleeding.
    • Finally, Zendaya runs the show in the film that made three-way kissing and tennis popular again, Challengers.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more episodes dedicated to our favorite films of 2024. In the meantime, let us know what you think of these films and what your favorite movie of 2024 was.
