It was far and away the worst loss of the season. No. 13 Illinois rode into Saturday morning as winners of five straight and looking to keep it going against a USC team that had beat no one and is projected to finish near the bottom of the Big Ten. The Trojans had other plans as they upset Illinois 82-72 as 14.5 point underdogs. It was their first road win against a ranked opponent in their last 19 tries, dating back to 2010.
