In this episode, we have Steve Guy (Cleveland Comedy Festival). I met Steve when i first started comedy here in Cleveland. He was the first guy that i met with an actual weekly booked show. He was also apart of some really quality and organized show around town, so it's no shock that he's running the Cleveland Comedy Festival now. On this episode, we have Vince Morris (HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central). Vince Morris is a guy I heard about the second I got into comedy. A friend told me that I needed to watch Vince live if I ever wanted to get better. And he wasnt wrong. From the first time i talked to Vince in a comedy club, he's been dropping jewels to me. From how to conduct myself off stage with other comedians and club staff, to the correct persona to have on stage as well. Vince has be a mentor and friend of mine for years, so it was a pleasure to talk to him about comedy and soak up some more advice. Enjoy the show.

Welcome back! This is the start of season 2 and I couldn't have a better guest for the premiere, my good friend, Rob Ward (Comedy Central, "Parental Advisory" comedy album out now). Rob and I started comedy in Cleveland around the same time, so we have a ton of stories to share and arguments to have. We debated "green room etiquette", how local comedians could improve, and a few good bombing stories. The episode was ending for 30 minutes, but that's how it gets when you're catching up with a friend. The only reason we ended this episode was we had to get home to our kids before it got too late. On this episode, I got Clark Jones (Comedian, Writer "Run The World", and Podcaster "Classic Black Dude"). When i met Clark when he was still hosting Comedy at the Knitting Factory in New York City. He's originally from Chicago and is now a writer in LA. In his travels, he's seen a ton of comedy, good and bad alike. On this episode, I get to shoot the shit with one of my favorite people, Jimmie Graham (Accidental Comedy Fest). I've seen Jimmie out in the Clevealnd comedy scene from the day he started. He would always stand out because of how much he commits to his bits. The confidence and fearlessness he has on stage and even off stage is amazing. That style doesn't come easy so of course, the stories are plentiful. Enjoy.

On this episode, we have Bobby Jaycox (I Just Woke Up podcast). Me and Bobby met at the Flyover Fest in St. Louis a few years ago, and we clicked like little kids at summer camp! The guy is fucking hilarious and a joy to talk to. He’s such a positive guy, so it was fun to hear him talk about bad shows. He's worked with some of the greats so enjoy the stories and laughs. 

On this episode we have Ramon Rivas II (HBO, Comedy Central). Me and Ramon go back to when I started stand up and he had a weekly open mic in a coffee shop. We even used to run the Accidental Comedy Fest. He moved to LA a few years ago,  so it was great to catch up and talk shop with him. We discussed how race has impacted our careers, and how the optics of diversity have their pros and cons. Enjoy.
