After Paul finishes praising God for the blessings he has bestowed upon his people, he tells the Ephesian church of the prayers he makes for them: that they might know of the hope, inheritance, and power they have through Christ, whom the Father has seated at his right hand above all things.

The apostle concludes his salvific introduction by declaring the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of the inheritance for those who are in Christ.

Continuing to praise God for the heavenly blessings He has bestowed upon His people, Paul here expounds upon the role of Christ Jesus in salvation, a role by which all things are united in Him.

This first section of Paul's introduction to the Ephesians magnifies the Father's role in salvation whereby he blessed His people with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
