  • In Episode 127, John Stange helps people share their wisdom online
    2025/07/09
Today’s guest is one of my own mentors, John Stange. He is a remarkably multi-talented individual who wears many hats, including pastor, college professor, podcaster, author and digital entrepreneur. For 30 years, John has served in ministry, including nearly three decades as the lead pastor of Core Creek Community Church in Langhorne, Penn. But, his calling extends well beyond the pulpit. He is also a professor at Cairn University, where he teaches classes on the Bible, theology and digital media. In the digital space, John is the creator of several impactful platforms, including the Chapter-A-Day Audio Bible podcast, Daily Devotions with Pastor John, and the Online Business Blueprint podcast. He also founded Platform Launchers, an online community which helps people build, grow and monetize their own online platforms. Whether he’s encouraging spiritual growth or helping aspiring creators take their first step online, John brings decades of experience and a passion for helping others to thrive. If you’ve ever thought it was “too late” to create something meaningful, John’s story is proof that it’s never too late to start sharing your wisdom with the world. As John approaches his third decade of pastoral ministry, his passion for helping others has only grown stronger. But, what gives John’s life the most meaning and purpose today is the opportunity to invest in others by equipping them to share their wisdom, stories and experiences through digital platforms. Whether it’s through faith-based content or entrepreneurial mentorship, John thrives on helping people step into their calling – especially those over 50 who may feel like their best days are behind them. He’s especially passionate about helping seasoned citizens realize they don’t have to be tech wizards or media professionals to make an impact. Through Platform Launchers, John offers step-by-step training and a supportive community where members from all walks of life can learn to create content, build audiences, and even generate income from coaching, courses and digital products. But, more than money, John believes platforms offer people a chance to beat back one of the biggest issues affecting older adults: loneliness. In addition, platforms give people the flexibility to work anywhere, anytime and in alignment with their own values and interests. Whether you’re writing a blog, hosting a podcast or building a YouTube channel, you can do it on your schedule and with as little as a few hours of commitment each week. John’s advice to those looking for meaning after 50 is to figure out ways you can bless other people with the gifts and wisdom you’ve been given. If you do that, he noted, you’ll find a lot of purpose which is deeply gratifying. You can connect with John or learn more about building your own platform by visiting www.platformlaunchers.com or checking out his faith-based content at www.biblestudyheadquarters.com. You can also reach him directly at john @ platformlaunchers.com. Don’t let your story go to the grave. Take it to the stage and let it bless someone else. That’s all for this week’s show. If you’d like to start living a more meaningful life, I encourage you to download our free guide to finding purpose, which is available at www.forwardfrom50.com. I’ll have another inspirational interview on the next episode of the Forward From 50 podcast. Thanks for listening.
