From Sci-fi Author M. A. (Max) Wall: I have been affiliated with the military for most of my life. I curse, I can be abrupt, and I save flowery wording for pissed off people and pretty metaphors. I have no problem with people poking holes in the science of a speculative fiction story, and I’m a scientist that has spent most of my career *asking* people to point out the flaws in my work.
