    Our guest this week is my friend and neighbor, Larsen McBride. Aside from being an enlightened music aficionado as well as a gifted musician, Larsen is a professional natural scientist—his job title is literally Scientist III, and the jury’s out on whether he ever wants to be a Scientist IV because he belongs out in the woods and the fields, not behind a desk. In my phone, Larsen’s nickname is "Planta Claus" because of his penchant for gifting friends and neighbors various trees, herbs, and native flora, all for the good of the network. He’ll help you plant them, too. Buckle up folks, because after this conversation, you just may never think about your relationship to nature the same way again.
