Christian Mentor, Bible Teacher, Speaker, Women’s ministry advisor, mom to 3, and Grammy to 7 sweet babies who are the light of my life. I see you and I get you, because I’ve been there. As a young wife it was important to me to have a strong, loving marriage, but I didn’t come from a Christian home so there was no example to follow for how to achieve that. All I knew was that I wanted a better marriage and family life than what I grew up in. Over the years the Lord has taught me how to find biblical answers to life’s questions in His Word and to rely on His wisdom, not the world’s for guidance and direction in my life. When we know His Word and apply it to our lives, then we will truly have peace as we trust our Heavenly Father for our marriages. This is what living out our faith is all about and it can bring you to new heights, life changing experiences, and amazing blessings in your life that you thank God for everyday.     135 ~ How To Respond To Your Husband With Grace

    As much as we love our husbands, they can be rather frustrating. Making trying to respond to them with grace and love seem nearly impossible at times.

    We also have the concern that if we show grace by letting a rude comment or them being a bit selfish slide, that we will be forever mistreated by our husbands.

    But, what did God do? He showed us grace while we were still deep in sin and quite unlovable. He didn't wait for us to behave rightly before he responded with grace and nether should we.

    Even though we know this to be true, putting it into practice can be a challenge. In this episode, we will chat about what grace really is, why we sometimes fail in showing it, and some practical steps of how even in those difficult moments, how to respond to our husbands with grace.

    In light of the unimaginable tragedy that has happened here in Texas, some of you have asked, "Where is God in all of this?" You're struggling to maintain your faith or to reconcile yourself against a God that you know loves His children, but then allows something like this to happen.

    It's a complicated question, and my hope is to encourage you not to lose heart.

    Together, we'll look to Scripture for answers, drawing from the life of Job—a man who faced incredible hardship yet remained steadfast in his faith. This isn't about diminishing the deep pain some are experiencing but rather offering support for those who are on the outside looking in. It's about understanding that, although we can't always see it, God has a plan and a purpose for everything.

    Today, we’re diving into how asking for forgiveness can bring healing and change to yourself and your marriage. I know, it sounds a bit scary and we often hesitate because of pride or fear.

    But ladies, through the power of Christ, this single act can do so much. The enemy understands this power and wants to keep you in your depression, despair and hurt. Which is why he does everything he can to keep you from even discussing forgiveness. Let's not let him win!
