This is it people! The final episode of the first season is here and I was fortunate enough to welcome a friend, basketball player, and the biggest professional I know, Christian Sengfelder. We turned back the clock and talked about our time at Fordham, his transition to a winning program and all the challenges he faced throughout that process. Following his successful college career Chris went on to play 6 years in the BBL, top league in Germany. To top it off, he became a huge part of the German national team. National team that has been on the rise these past few years and Chris has been there every step of the way. We also talked about the surreal experience at Eurobasket 2022 where Germany wasn't far away from winning it all. The second to last episode of the first season is here and this time with another phenomenal female athlete. We took some time to reminisce about her college experience at Illinois and UNC, her first professional contract in Hungary which was a huge reality check and of course her outstanding journey throughout Spain. Welcome back everyone! In this week's episode I had the honor of talking to an assistant coach from D1 basketball with over 18 years of experience. Mike DePaoli was an assistant coach during my time at Fordham and has since moved to Hofstra University where he continues having an impact on high level players. We had a lot to catch up on. We shared some hilarious memories from our time in the Bronx and did a little review of our 4 year span from the two perspectives - coach/player. A big part of the episode is devoted to the challenges that come along with the introduction of NIL (name, image and likeness). How much do get players paid?
