In the series, we go to Zimbabwe to interview conversationist Ian Du Preez, to get his perspective on biodiversity and why community engagement is so important to conversation. Ian was fascinated by the natural environment at an early age and after a career in Rugby, playing for Zimbabwe, he moved into conservation. He has managed game reserves, relocated elephants, protected black Rhino, helps communities become more sustainable and is now passionate about educating the young - 'the future guardians of our planet'. In this podcast, Ian provides a glimpse into the complexity of biodiversity and also talks about why community engagement is so important and why, as a conservationist, his work with communities has been one of his biggest achievements.
