Today's interview is with Eva James, a rising dark pop artist, channels haunting beauty and raw vulnerability in her music, reminiscent of Stevie Nicks and Bonnie Raitt. Her introspective lyrics explore mental health and toxic relationships, transforming pain into universal truths. Living with autoimmune conditions like Endometriosis, MCAS, and POTS, Eva faced a health crisis during COVID-19 but found strength through biologic injections and IVIG infusions. For her, music is medicine. In 2023, she won the Gloucester 400th Anniversary Singer-Songwriter Challenge and began recording her debut album, Earth to Eva, with Paula Cole, set for 2025 release.
