It is by comparing anticipated pleasure for our possible choices that we decide on any one thing, And when it comes time to evaluate our choices, we have not better way of doing that than how much better we feel than before. That is, did we get the pleasure we were looking for? We can make healthy and wise choices when we recognize that it is the overall pleasure that is the measure of success.
