In today's episode we cover our predictions for the upcoming football season. We talk about who we think will make the new expanded college football playoff. We also discuss Caitlin Clark and how sitting out of the Olympics worked in her favor. We also go over our best bets and Floregon story.
Definitions:
- Moneyline - You pick who wins or loses. There is no point spread just a simple win or loss and in the case of soccer you can pick if there will be a draw.
- Spread - The spread is a wager where you can pick if a team will get within or outside a set amount of points or runs. The underdog must get within this number and favorite must get outside this number.
- Over/Under - You pick if the game with wind up with more points or fewer points than a set number that is picked by the betting company.
- Parlay - This is a series of linked bets that if all of them win you get a great payout, but if one of them loses then you get nothing. These bets are notoriously difficult to win.
