Democratism is the ideology that values above all else the rule of the people. Democratism is rarely, okay is never, as simple and pure as it sounds. As with each of these ideologies, in the proper place, Democracy is a great tool. Democratism crosses a line and becomes a creed, something to be believed and embraced. And, as with each of these, we must identify and decide what is good and how do we have the right ideas in proper perspective and place.
This and recent episodes have been heavily dependant upon this book, Political Visions and Illusions by David Koyzis.
