Ms. Mudditt has been CEO of the Public Library of Science since 2017 and is committed to building an open, equitable, and sustainable system of scientific knowledge production and sharing. Prior to her current role, Alison served as Director of the University of California Press, and as Executive Vice President at SAGE Publications. The Public Library of Science is a nonprofit, Open Access publisher empowering researchers to accelerate progress in science and medicine.
