このコンテンツについて
Islamic knowledge is meant to be shared for the benefit of others. Yet, some individuals choose to keep this knowledge to themselves, raising the critical question we explore in this episode: what does "kitman al-ilm" (the concealment of knowledge) truly mean?
We will discuss various forms of withholding knowledge—whether it's avoiding the duty to teach or deliberately concealing the truth for personal gain, such as protecting one's paycheck, status, or interests. Additionally, we'll examine the danger of spreading false information to manipulate others for support, prioritizing personal welfare over the welfare of God’s laws (Shari'ah). This episode unpacks the moral responsibility to share and uphold the truth in Islam.
