We had the pleasure of having guest Richard Shaw Jr on the podcast to share his story and the story behind Believe Again.

Richard Shaw Jr. is an Atlanta-based saxophonist with over 25 years of experience. Known for his unique ability to play multiple saxophones simultaneously, he has performed at prestigious events and with well-known figures like Steve Harvey, Jennifer Hudson, and Wynton Marsalis. His soulful music, often described as sounding like a human voice through the saxophone, has captivated audiences worldwide. In addition to his music career, Richard has a deep passion for mental health awareness, particularly through his nonprofit, Believe Again.

Believe Again initiative was inspired by his personal experiences with depression and suicidal thoughts, which he overcame through faith. His album "Believe Again" serves as both a musical and motivational tool, urging people to renew their belief in themselves and in God​. Through his nonprofit, he supports mental health initiatives, often sharing his story of survival and resilience after overcoming an EF3 tornado that destroyed his home.
