As he searches his cluttered apartment for a missing box of "Savoy Truffle" chocolates, Widlovsky reflects on his life, filled with Beatles memorabilia and bittersweet memories. He attends a wake for his late friend at the "Crossroads" blues club, where he encounters Abby, the fierce lead singer of the band "Abby & The Roadkill." Their interaction stirs memories of a past love, as Widlovsky begins to recount an important event from his youth during the socialist era.
