Porotesano is also an elder council member of Pacific Climate Warriors and 350 Pacific, he also has a hand in several other organizations as well and was slated to be the keynote speaker of the GPSEN 2020 Sustainability Symposium, until COVID-19 happened and the in person event was cancelled (along with life as we knew it...).
