Welcome to the first official episode of She's in the Weeds! The ladies are kicking off the episode with an introduction of the new name and some back story on the old one, why they changed it, and what listeners can expect as they continue to roll out the podcast face lift. Then they're yapping about vehicle maintenance, leather couches, and Sam makes a surprising revelation about a childhood favorite movie. Next up, the girls are overdue for a reality check. They're sharing thoughts on RHONY's fake news about being canceled, who they hope will return and who might be a fun addition to mix things up. Then its on to the Valley, Danny Booko's dark side, and the never ending BS that spews from Jax Taylor's mouth. Will this man ever change or even learn? Once they've dissected the Bravo drama it's time to get in the weeds. Today's topic is Artificial Intelligence and the new age of online misogyny. AI is an extremely useful tool and something both Sam and Hollis use regularly but they think we can all agree it doesn't come without concerns. They'll be discussing how AI perpetuates and exacerbates gender bias and stereotypes and racial discrimination and how it's influencing a new generation of digital natives. They even asked AI to help them understand this problem and how to solve it and you might be surprised at the answers. Chat is a self aware king and we love to see it! (And yes, chat is a man. For now anyway.) As always they wrap up the episode with gripes about driving and bedtime struggles and grapes to sign in conveniences and woodland critters. Thanks for being here!
