After decades of bad-faith talks, lies and state-sponsored terrorism aimed
at the United States and our allies, Iran suddenly wants Donald Trump’s intervention on their behalf. On Monday, their foreign minister implored Trump to intervene to force Israel into a cease fire. “It takes one phone call from Washington,” he wrote on Twitter, “to muzzle someone like Netanyahu.”
The Ayatollah has put “Death to America” on hiatus, it seems, after 46 years of threatening our destruction – and attempting to follow through in Beirut, in Iraq, and in assassination plots against American presidents … including Trump.
Trump isn’t likely to rescue the Iranians from the fate they themselves have chosen. They had over twenty years to come clean about their pursuit of nuclear weapons. The regime has turned Iran into a terror state, operating proxy armies that have killed Americans and Israelis alike for decades.
If they’re allowed to resume any pursuit of nuclear technology, they’ll use it to destroy anyone and everyone who opposes them.
Let Israel finish the job and finish the terror regime.
