  • Pollinators: Important in so many ways!
    2025/08/11

Our guest for this episode is Anna Allen, a Berkeley-Jefferson (WVa) Extension Master Gardener and a Student towards Master Gardener. Our topic is pollinators and their importance both aesthetically and food production.

We jointly focus on developing the start of a foundational understanding of pollinators and practical ways the public can support them.

Your host: Dennis Shaw, Apprentice Master Naturalist (Potomac Valley Master Naturalists).

We discussed Bee City Shepherdstown (West Virginia). Their website is HERE.

Feedback for Dennis can be sent to him HERE. (It appears Apple doesn't make an email link so -- dennis at mantuan dot org and make the conversion. Yes?)

You can think of this episode as a pilot for the idea of a podcast about the nature around us.
