TRU Beauty Confessions is a part of the EcoParent Podcast Network: www.ecoparent.ca/podcasts
About the Episode:
We talk about what it means to be the Thunder Bay Radio Diva and grow up behind the mic. We ask Dee if she believes in the idea that growing gracefully is possible? Do we really get more beautiful with age. Dee discusses how embracing yourself especially as we get older allows others to relate to us in a real way, and connection to others being the ultimate impact in our world. We discuss how our friends influence how we see ourselves, for better or worse. We get down and dirty about Botox, and what Dee’s experience was. How do we know a beauty procedure is right for us? Does altering our bodies get in the way of the personal journey to connect with our inner self? Learning to be ourselves can one of the most difficult things to do, but one of the greatest gifts you can offer to yourself and your community.
Guest Bio:
The name on her birth certificate says Diane Jaroway, but everyone in Thunder Bay, Ontario knows her as Dee. Dee has an established career waking up the city of Thunder Bay co-hosting the wildly popular Morning Show on Rock 94, and now joining Country 105. Dee is also a successful voice-over artist, visual artist, self-proclaimed amateur cook, Thunder Bay’s unofficial karaoke queen, along with the ‘best auntie’ ever. Dee is well known for her philanthropic work, whether emceeing charity events and helping them raise thousands of dollars, or her own initiatives, she has developed a career and an established public persona through her faith, dedication, and service to others.

About Your Host Michelle Rosetta (Clinical Herbalist and Owner of BEE23 Natural Beauty):
Michelle is a mother of four with over 20 years of experience in the health and beauty industry, inspired by her own sensitivities to synthetic ingredients in personal care products and a deep need to be good to the environment we share this world with. She has served customers stretching around the world with her all natural non-toxic BEE23 Natural Beauty line of products, specializing in maturing skin, eczema and sensitive skin issues. As a Clinical Herbalist she works to support our natural beauty not only from the outside but from the inside-out focusing on reducing internal inflammation. She enjoys freelance writing encompassing tips for positive and ‘green’ skin care health to the deeply emotional, philosophical and energetic relationship we have with our physical aesthetic, while reconciling this with the love of self which lies far deeper than reaching for the latest cosmetic cream.
