GM Bill Schmidt makes a move to relieve hitting coach Hensley Meulens of his duties following the Colorado Rockies 3-15 start. In his place will be Clint Hurdle, manager of the Rockies from 2002-09 and the man at the helm for the run to Rocktober and the 2007 World Series.
What can we expect from Hurdle and the Rockies offense starting Friday against the Washington Nationals? How will manager Bud Black and Hurdle cohabitate and could this be the first of a series of coaching changes?
