Welcome to this fourth episode of the podcast series dedicated to relationships with Shannon O’Hara, Susanna Mittermaier and Jürgen Funk!

After multiple failed relationships, Susanna and Jürgen thought they were done…

Until they realized they had to change and ask for something different. Relationships can be such a charged delusional area. People experience very common male and female challenges : the female struggles with being very controlling and the male struggles with giving themselves up and filling the female’s needs. So how do you grow the relationship?

Here a a few practical tools that can help you:

  • Don’t project the future about the relationship, ask a question : What’s possible with this person?
  • Be in allowance of the other, expand out and know if it’s time to do something on your own. You have to know what works for you.
  • What if it’s not your job to take care of the other person, and you could just let go of control and allow them to say if they require anything?
  • Judgments never take you anywhere. Is this what you want to create in the relationship?
  • Destroy and uncreate your relationship every day (by that we mean destroying anything that you have decided about the relationship that might be limiting it) so that you see what else is possible today that wasn't the day before.

Have fun creating your relationship, what else is possible you haven't considered?

Key takeaways:

  • It’s not your job to make the person change, be happy or carry them on your shoulders.
  • What is your relationship for? You know if it’s the right person for you if it creates more for both to be together.
  • In this society, to have to be a couple, you have to be significant and serious. But what if relationships could all be fun and play?
