Septically speaking we are "diving in" (okay maybe not) in a discussion about On-Site Sewer Systems (OSS). Regular listeners know Eric lives remotely and that requires certain items on the hillside to live. Commonly know as a Septic System the OSS is absolutely critical to being able to safely live in a remote (or maybe not so remote location). From laundry water, to shower water to toilet water and all it's contents it all has to go somewhere when you don't have access to a public sewer system (like most residential homes). When you draw water from a well on the same hillside, it is critical to the environment and your health that the system is functioning and performing optimally.
