    On episode 4 of Dallas Music Network's Deep Dive, hosts Paul "Pappy" Middleton and Mav Traxx continue their conversation in Part 2 with Oak Cliff native, the "Guitar Slayer" Justin Lyons. Lyons has performed with artists spanning every genre—from gospel, soul, and blues to K-pop and hip-hop, including Blackpink, Bobby Brown, Lil’ Wayne/Blink-182, Erika Badu, and Machine Gun Kelly. He recently performed at the 2022 VMAs. 

    Lyons is a Dallas Music Network Alumnus. You may have spotted him as part of the DMN house band in Season 3 of Dallas Music Network's Spotlight series.  We are proud of our hometown boy and jumped at the chance to catch up to talk about what's next and the great new music he is producing.

    Fort Worth producer Matthews has had major success in the music industry, including the #1 hit song "Show Me Love," which he wrote and co-produced with Alicia Keys. He was named Best Engineer/Producer of 2020 by the Dallas Observer Music Awards.  

    We found Morgan Matthews refreshingly authentic and humble, calling his multiple successes "like winning the lottery."
