Skin Friendly Foods

-Aloe vera juice - 2x/ day morning on empty stomach and before bed.

-Diet rich in color - How many different colors of vegetables and fruit can you put on your plate?

-Vitamin C. Women should have 75 mg /day. Burgess suggests getting your vitamin C by eating citrus. Oranges have about 51mg of vitamin C.

-Broccoli & Cauliflower are a good source foot vitamin C and are also great for helping metabolize your hormones.

-Hydrating - drink your water!!! Drink it out of glass. Use electrolytes without sugar.

-Water filtration system. Check EWG website.

-Mediterranean diet


Other good things for your skin

-Detox baths

-Saunas. Sweating is great for detoxing your body and skin. Make sure to shower after.


Things to avoid to help your skin

  • ​Processed foods
  • ​Processed sugar (fruit is fine)
  • ​Dairy. It’s naturally inflammatory for everyone. If you’re finding you are having breakouts, then try eliminating dairy from your diet. You can reintroduce it. Sometimes your body just needs a break from it.
  • ​Alcohol
