  • Sketching Your Community & Zine-Making with Aidan Terhune
    2024/04/17

Today's podcast guest is the wonderful Aidan Terhune!! Aidan is a sketch artist currently based in Atlanta, GA who I met while he was living in New York. I've been fascinated with Aidan's creative process, which includes going out into his community and sketching scenes while experiencing them in real life. In this episode, we talk more about what it means to make "realistic" art, spontaneous inspiration, finding your style, and what Aidan does with his finished pieces (hint: publishes them in zines for each city he's living in!)

✨ You might have seen Aidan before as the subject of my very first Creative Process Session, where I photographed him sketching around Central Park! I'll be sharing some of the sketches that Aidan showed in this episode on the pod Instagram as well - and check out Aidan's Instagram for more sketches! ✨
