このコンテンツについて
This episode, brothers Matt and Brian Silver discuss Francis Chan's book, Crazy Love. It may be clear that we have some reservations about the book's core assertions, but we have great respect for his passion and transparency. In Crazy Love, Chan questions the validity of "lukewarm" faith. He argues that many Christians have settled for a safe, comfortable, and apathetic life. Chan believes the answer to this is a passionate, selfless love for God that should lead to a radical and counter-cultural life.
Each episode, we discuss a different book. Brian, with eight years as Lead Pastor at Hope Community Church in St. Paul, MN, provides thoughtful theological insights. His older brother, Matt, has many questions about God, the Bible, mysticism, and theology. Expect candid conversations ranging from Matt's personal recovery journey to their shared experiences as preacher's kids.
