  • Neesha Farmer
    2025/07/21

Neesha Farmer was born and raised in St. George Utah and recently moved to northern Utah to further her career in optometry. She’s also an AMAZING nail technician in her free time, so if you live in the SLC area & are looking to get your nails done, Neesha is your girl! She is an out and proud bisexual and is also an active member of the LDS church.

In this episode, I sit down with Neesha to talk about growing up with liberal values in a deeply conservative environment—and how that shaped her understanding of identity, community, and kindness. Neesha shares her experience as a queer woman who also finds belonging in her Mormon faith, challenging the idea that we have to choose one identity over another.

We discuss the power of listening to women, the importance of believing them, and how radical it can be to simply be kind. In a world that often feels divided, Neesha reminds us that kindness is free—and needed now more than ever.

TRIGGER WARNING: At various points in our conversation, we discuss sensitive topics including a bomb threat at a school — though thankfully no one was harmed — as well as brief mentions of suicide, and later, sexual assault.

If these topics are difficult or upsetting for you, please skip the following timestamps...

    • Bomb Threat & Suicide Discussions: 0:11:15 - 0:19:15
    • Sexual Assault: 0:37:45 - 0:48:40

Your mental and emotional well-being always come first, and we completely support you taking care of yourself in whatever way feels right.

  • Lindsey Williams
    2025/07/14

Lindsey is currently attending the University of Wyoming studying Agricultural Education and she lives in Laramie Wyoming.

In this episode, Lindsey & I chat about her journey from sunny California to wide‑open Wyoming—and how that move reshaped her sense of community, politics, and faith. Growing up conservative but never quite fitting neatly into any party, Lindsey shares how her experiences in two very different places taught her the power of kindness over judgment.

We dive into her deep belief in letting people be who they are, loving without preconditions, and resisting the urge to hate those who see the world differently. Join us as Lindsey explains how her faith anchors her commitment to respect, empathy, and understanding—even when our beliefs don’t line up.

Trigger Warning: This episode includes discussion of a mass shooting. If you’d prefer to skip this portion, please fast-forward from 00:30:00 to 00:37:00. We understand this topic can be difficult, so please take care while listening.
