このコンテンツについて
Dr. Jordan Murphy sits down with Erica Atwood, The Deputy of Engagement for Cities United, and Ricky “Dip” Usher, CEO of Wii Care Atlanta to talk about the financial investment from the Coalition to Advance Public Safety (CAPS) in Atlanta-based Community Violence Intervention (CVI) organizations. The investment will strengthen local efforts to reduce community violence by 15% and expand support for those most impacted by gun violence.
The CAPS initiative, led by four national Black-led technical assistance providers, is committed to scaling proven, community-driven strategies to address gun violence by supporting cities in building sustainable, long-term, safety solutions. The five Atlanta-based organizations who are recipients of the financial investment and technical assistance are Girassol Wellness, Wii Care, Atlanta Victim Assistance, H.O.P.E Hustlers, and Circle of Safety.
Brave Space is a healing place for gun violence prevention professionals and survivors. We meet. We process. We heal in commUNITY.
