In this episode of the 10 Plus Club, where we talk to business owners and entrepreneurs about making money and growing a successful business for more than 10 years, we talk to the inspirational Cheryl White at Apollo Care Franchise and how she grew her business to a successful multi million pound network.

Cheryl started off as a district nurse. In fact, her first job in care was a part time weekend job in a nursing home when she was just 14 years of age. She eventually qualified as a nurse before starting her own home care business - which employed around 30 people.

The business was so successful she could not keep up with the demand placed upon it and she had to do something. Either sell the business or expand the business by franchising the business.

Cheryl chose the latter. After a bumpy start, she managed to surround herself with the right professional team and today Apollo Care employs around 1000 care staff across the franchise network in 15 locations across the UK. The network is about to expand abroad and is looking to open its first franchise in South Africa.
