  • Roller Rink Reclamation: Rewriting Stories With Community
    2025/06/11

    Send us a text

Hi Change The Channel Podcast Fam,

In this episode, we explore how to rewrite childhood fear through the body—specifically, the story of roller skating and how it once held fear, judgment, and shame. Through somatic awareness, connection, and co-regulation in community, we begin to unravel the old wiring that said “this isn’t safe” and replace it with presence, play, and personal power.

If you’ve ever carried a fear story from childhood that lives in your muscles, your reflexes, or your breath—this conversation invites you to reclaim joy through nervous system safety, relational healing, and movement-based repair. Because healing isn’t always about talking—it’s about moving differently in the presence of care.

This is a tender and powerful listen for anyone healing performance anxiety, body memory, or the fear of being seen.

  • Oracle Card Pull, Rest As Resistance, Identity & That's Just The Beginning: What Your Business, Heart, and Mind Needed Today with Pea Hamilton
    2025/05/29

    Send us a text

    Hi CTC Podcast Fam,

You about to meet one of my faves, and I cant wait for you to meet them.

What if rest isn’t laziness—but a sacred technology for collective liberation?

In this deeply nourishing episode, I sit down with intuitive guide and creative entrepreneur Pea Hamilton to explore the radical intersections of rest, race, gender, and entrepreneurship—through the lens of healing, truth-telling, and soulful rebellion.

Inspired by the work of The Nap Ministry, we talk about:

    • Rest as resistance and how it reclaims time, power, and peace—especially for the Ebony and non-binary community
    • How the label of “lazy” is often weaponized against those who defy grind culture
    • Navigating entrepreneurship with intuition, and knowing when it’s time to pause or push
    • What it means to identify beyond the binary, and still belong to softness, structure, and sacred purpose
    • The deep grief of watching men be excluded from wellness spaces that they desperately need—and how we all can hold more nuance
    • A powerful oracle card pull that brings it all home with soul-level clarity

This conversation is medicine for anyone who’s felt like rest made them invisible… or like pushing made them disappear. You’ll leave with language, resonance, and a new way to locate yourself on the map of your own timing.

Thank you as always for liking, sharing and commenting on the podcast. We are in this together y'all- so spread the goodness to all that you feel would benefit from this conversation.

    XO

  • Art and Activism: Breaking Down Kendrick's Halftime Show with Special Guest Blake Booker
    2025/04/30

    Send us a text

    Hi CTC Podcast Fam,

I am giddy to bring you this next episode, for several reasons.

    1. The halftime show was epic, nuanced, art and activism on a massive center stage that I believe needs to be remembered and used as a call to move into action.

    2. Change the Channel is all about gaining new perspectives, breaking out of the cycle of what we have always thought or done- and story is one of the best ways to do this. For me as a white bodied woman, there were so many parts of this performance that I knew were important but didn't know why. When we get curious and ask others with different perspectives what we expand our capacity for empathy and empathy is the sustainable spark that will allow bridges to be built relationally, racially, and we radically need this now.

    3. I get to introduce you to one of my partners, a man that is Changing the Channel in my life in so many ways through who he is and how he moves through the world. Blake is an activist, dancer/ choreographer, former zoo keeper, podcast host, scholar of life, Ebony king and his perspective on the halftime show left a meaningful mark in my heart and mind- so of course I gotta share it with y'all.

His podcast Normal Guy Sports Talk is a treat, so follow and subscribe to that to get a little more Blake in your life, and we reference key terms of racism in this podcast, here is the link to check it out.

  • Changing The Channel on Insecurity

    Send us a text

    Hi CTC Podcast Fam,

This message came to me like a divine download over coffee and delicious vegetarian gravy with poached eggs.

Insecurity is one of the emotions that I feel carries with it a "shame on you" waggling finger. But what if it didn't have to be that way? What if we could instead use this as a cue to dive in to reconnecting with self trust.

This is really powerful and challenging work my friends, and I have found that it is best done with support. Connect here to be supported as you come home to self trust.
